Jordan is a well-rounded percussionist located in the North and East Texas area. He currently studies business and music at Texas A&M University-Commerce. As a soloist, Jordan has participated in many classical solo marimba competitions including the 2012 Southern California International Marimba Competition, where he placed third in the scholastic division. He recently placed second at the 2014 Percussive Arts Society International Convention Keyboard Solo Competition, where he place second. He was also the Outstanding Soloist in the 2012 North Texas Percussion Ensemble Festival.
Jordan is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, Texas Music Educators Association, and Synergy Percussion. He is currently the Studio Director and owner of VirtuosicArts, a small private studio, where he teaches a range of drums and percussion. Jordan has also worked with Rockwall High School, Wylie High School, North Mesquite High School and currently North Forney High School as a drum line technician. It is in his best interest to challenge his students to be innovative and well-rounded musicians.
Jordan has studied under outstanding educators including Dr. Brian Zator, Mr. JJ Pipitone, Mr. Russell Ratterree, and Mr. Eric Martin.
Outside of music, Jordan enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
